There are few hairdressers in the world who feel a true, insatiable passion for their craft. True hair artists who view each strand as an opportunity to create something special and expressive that makes the wearer feel unique and fashion-forward. I love finding these people. They are infectious in the best kind of way. When I went to have my hair styled in the fashion of a blythe doll for Halloween last year, my usual stylist, Ericka Verrett at AJF was busy. She instead scheduled me with her assistant, Katie Neutz, who so far, had showed me that she could shampoo me into a relaxed blob, and blowdry my hair straighter with a Denman than with any flat iron I had ever seen. I knew I was in good hands, but when I sat in her chair, I began to truly understand the that I was in the presence of someone very special.
I loved how excited Katie became when I told her that I wanted big, crazy, but feminine hair. She turned me away from the mirror while she worked, and every time someone walked by, they raved about what she was doing to my head. The anticipation was KILLING me! She curled my hair with such detail, that each tiny section she curled had a special place in her work, creating the overall vision she had planned in her head. After chatting and laughing with each other for about an hour, she turned me to the mirror to reveal the most adorable and doll-like hair style I had ever seen on a human! I was so excited I could barely contain myself. I only wish I had better pictures of it to share with all of you, but instead, I’ll show you some other pictures of the genius that Katie has created in her short career; pictures that told me that I couldn’t wait any longer to tell you all about her!
What excited me the most about Katie is that despite the fact that she hasn’t been a hairdresser for very long, she possesses so much natural talent, its almost scary. My late mother always said that whatever you do, you should do with genuine care. Katie obviously cares, and not only is she amazing at what she does, but she also is an absolute delight to be around. To book with Katie for any of your events, call Muse Hair Boutique at 14th and R at 916-443-5780. Did I mention she’s great at cut and color too? Now, for those pictures I promised. Enjoy!

Sorry, Beth, I’m not familiar with the Quasar products, but when I looked it up, I found that the blue one is specifically meant for acne. I hope that answers your question. Here is a link to the site below.
